ABOUT ADVANCED POWER ALLIANCE

Advanced Power Alliance (APA) is an industry trade association that promotes the development of the advanced energy technologies that deliver clean, reliable, affordable power for consumers, businesses and manufacturers across the United States.

For over 20 years, APA has maintained a strong industry voice in legislative, regulatory and technical affairs across the Southwest Power Pool (SPP), Electric Reliability Council of Texas (ERCOT) and Southeast regions.

On behalf of our member companies, we are a leading advocate for reasonable, pro-business legislation which supports the development of advanced power solutions such as utility-scale onshore and offshore wind, solar, nuclear and hydrogen energy. We know a robust, reliable electric grid is key to providing the energy that powers the nation, which is why APA advocates for transmission planning and expansion, and increased deployment of energy storage technologies.

APA is spearheading efforts to defend equitable and technology neutral regulatory, tax, and siting policies that strike the appropriate balance between increasing development, environmental protection, private property rights and military readiness.
