GETTING CLEAN ENERGY RIGHT FOR TEXAS:
A FRESH CONSERVATIVE TAKE ON ENERGY POLICY
Across the nation some conservative leaders recognize the security, economic, and political importance of transitioning to a clean energy future. Texas is particularly well-positioned to capture the benefits of the new generation of clean energy resources. The event will begin with a short film by Morry Cater that highlights conservative leaders and their perspectives about clean energy.
The film will be followed by a nationally-recognized panel of conservative experts in a discussion led by Tucker Eskew, Partner at Vianovo. Panelists include: The Honorable Kip Averitt, former Texas State Senator (R-22) and Chair of the Texas Clean Energy Coalition; Debbie Dooley, National Coordinator for the Tea Party Patriots; the Honorable Bob Inglis, former U.S. House of Representatives (R-South Carolina) and executive director of the Energy and Enterprise Initiative of George Mason University; and Eli Lehrer, President of the R Street Institute.
