Tony Gius launched AVG Consulting in January 2025. Previously he worked at McGuireWoods Consulting as a senior vice president for eight years. Tony specializes in managing grassroots campaigns, mobilization strategies, and coordinated communications and media efforts. He has vast political campaign experience, including two successful presidential campaigns, three statewide campaigns, and has implemented successful public policy campaigns for numerous national corporations, associations, and nonprofit organizations. Tony’s experience reaches across a multitude of industries including energy, immigration, technology, water, and healthcare.

Previously Tony worked at the White House Office of Political Affairs through the national political committee as well as the George W Bush Presidential Campaigns in 2000 and 2004.

Tony lives in Austin with his wife and two sons and is a graduate of the University of Texas at Austin.
