As Senior Advisor for Southwest Power Pool Affairs, Annie Minondo leads APA’s advocacy efforts across the SPP region and builds coalitions among stakeholders to support the responsible growth of advanced power resources including power generation and energy storage.

Before joining APA, she served at the Natural Resources Defense Council (NRDC), where she brought together regional partners and renewable energy advocates to coordinate efforts and align messaging across a wide range of stakeholders. She was actively engaged in the development of the Consolidated Planning Process, demand response policy, and Order 1920 compliance, among other issues.

A native of Guatemala City, Annie holds a bachelor’s and a master’s degree from Stanford University. She currently lives in Brooklyn, New York.
